Aloha and welcome to Hawaiian Mission Academy Ka Lama Iki!
It is a privilege to serve a school community where students are known, valued, challenged, and encouraged to grow. At Ka Lama Iki, our purpose extends beyond academic achievement. We are committed to developing the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically—while helping each student discover and develop the gifts God has given them.
Ka Lama Iki continues to raise the bar in academics, spiritual growth, student achievement, athletics, and social-emotional learning. At the heart of this work is our ALOHA framework: Academics, Leadership, ʻOhana, Healthy Living, and an Authentic Relationship with God. These values define who we are and guide how we teach, how we care for one another, and how we prepare our students for the future.
We believe in strong academics that challenge students to think, explore, persevere, and take pride in their growth. We want students to feel safe asking questions, trying new things, and making mistakes, knowing that each is an important part of learning. We encourage leadership through service, kindness, responsibility, and using our God-given gifts to make a difference. Our strong sense of ʻohana creates a community where students are known, valued, and cared for, while healthy living supports their social, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Above all, we want our students to develop an authentic relationship with God—knowing Jesus personally and learning to live out their faith through their choices, relationships, and service to others.
One of the greatest strengths of Ka Lama Iki is our people. I am blessed to work alongside a talented and dedicated team of teachers, staff, pastors, volunteers, families, and constituent churches who genuinely care about our students. Together, we are creating an environment where children can ask questions, make mistakes, discover their strengths, develop resilience, deepen their relationship with Jesus, and experience the joy of learning.
As principal, I am committed to ensuring that our students and our mission remain at the center of every decision we make. Education should be about more than what a child knows—it should help shape who they are becoming.
