I grew up in Southern California (La Sierra) where I started my teaching career at Southeastern California Conference. There I taught in the Twentynine Palms and Fullerton, California area, which is ten minutes from Disneyland.
In 2012, I took a job at Highland Elementary in Portland, Tennessee. My passion is to share robotics and computer programming skills with my students and community. While at Southeastern California Conference, I trained and recruited schools to create the SECC Robotics. My team was the only team the first year with 12 students. Two years later, seventy-five students joined robotics. I also introduced robotics to Highland and the program still thrives today.
In addition to the regular core subjects, I include a puppet ministry in my classroom as an outreach to the community.
